Workforce Development:

Building Bridges to Opportunity

Achieving economic independence is essential for meaningful integration into society. At Faribault youth empowerment center (FYCE), we recognize the challenges faced by individuals from generational poverty and communities of color as they seek career opportunities. Our tailored approach equips them with the skills and resources needed to overcome these barriers and achieve lasting success.

Faribault Youth Empowerment and Career Pathways Project

The Faribault Youth Empowerment and Career Pathways Project helps economically disadvantaged and at-risk Black immigrant and refugee youth, ages 14 to 24, in Minnesota. It provides the resources and support they need to build skills and pursue careers in high-demand industries, breaking the cycle of poverty and opening doors to better opportunities.

Career Pathway Agents (CPAs) work with each youth to explore their interests, set career goals, and create personalized plans to help them succeed in their chosen career paths.
